Vic Rodriguez Tang has a goal: to create the first menstrual product brand that acknowledges and targets trans, queer, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming folks—folks that typically get ignored in the menstrual products industry as consumers. As Rodriguez Tang explains of the venture, “I want to make sure we cater to trans, queer, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming folks first, which no company does in markets such as convenience stores.”
In creating this brand and company, Rodriguez Tang’s ultimate mission is to get high-quality products into drug stores and grocery stores (accessible points of sale) and to compete with established brands’ prices in the menstrual products industry. Additional goals of the brand include creating supportive jobs for trans, queer, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming folks and giving back to the community by offering scholarships for gender confirmation needs.
